My goal for 'Grease' is to take on the characteristics of both of my characters as they are very different. Grease For the last two weeks we have been practicingour production Grease. Grease is from the rock’n’roll 50’s. Grease is about a boy called Danny and a girl called Sandy. Sandy starts a new school. When Danny sees Sandy at the school he talks nicely until the t-birds starts nudging him. Then Sandy wishes she never met him. My character was Eugene and Jason Gunn as Eugene. I wore denim Jeans, white top, ugly vest and tie. As Jason Gunn I wore denim Jeans, white top and cool vest.
When I was Eugene I was a nerdy sort of person. To be nerdy I had to wear glasses and speak loudly. When I was Jason Gunn I was a cool dude. To do this I waved to the croud and spikerd up my hair. I am proud of my voice and actions. NThe challenge of the production for me was easy but thechallenge of the donuts is impossible.
I think the show was successful because it suited our strengths. We all got a part and we all worked together well. Nobody minded who they danced with and we cooperated to set up the scene changes. We had to think about what needed to be done without being asked. I helped collect all of the tools after the car scene and helped the juniors get ready before the production started.
When we practised the show felt like it would last forever, but on the night I thought, "Hey, it is not over yet!!" I am looking forward to next year. I learnt alot from our practises such as dances, songs and reading our script and learning our words. I also got better at organising myself. At one of the practises I dumped my costume behind the door and I couldn't find it. I learnt that it is easier to put it in the right place in the beginning..
Farm time
Ring ,ring ring ,ring went my alarm at 4.30 am. I love getting the milkier in to the cowshed. As soon as I had drunk my hot chocolate I pulled up my overalls and legging and put on my raincoat. I was off like the wind into the dark, cold, freezing morning. As soon as I arrived at the work shop, I swapped my bike for a motorbike and then I was off like a rocket to the cows. The cows had already left the paddock. All I had to do was shift the fence.
Suddenly I saw the cowshed lights go on.When I arrived I parked the motorbike, pulled off my raincoat, pulled on my milking gloves and climbed down into the pit.
Spray spray went the teat spray on the teats.Vvvrrooom! My motorbike roared to life as I raced off to shift the calves. After that we went home for breakfast.
On the 8/9/09 Apiti school went skiing
Skills:ski down from praklane
Key Competency: to listen to others
Finally I was skiingdown the mountain & back up the Pommel. I zipped down to the midget carpetfor my lesson. The‘next step ’ group of kids met Joel & Dan. We carried our ski-is down to an orange fence.Dan asked us which ski we would put on first. Most of us said the right foot. Some said the Left, but the kids who put there hand up for right were correct.
Next we played red light, green light and purple light. Green light meant go, red meant Stop & purple meant jump. Next we played the train game the kabose has to say wipe out if some one has fell over. After my lesion my MUM and I jump on the chair lift up to parklane. Up there I saw Cole, hunter, Wendy& Sarah.
